The countdown is on for Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s highly anticipated royal wedding. The invitations have been mailed out for the Friday, April 29 event.

Of course, everybody is talking about the wedding dress and who the designer will be.

“This is being treated as a state secret; it really is being shrouded in secrecy,” says Katie. “[Kate’s] determined to keep the wedding dress a secret. When she leaves the Goring Hotel, she’s having a marquee specially created over the entrance so that no one will get a glimpse of her until she enters Westminster Abbey.”

Approximately 1,900 invitations were sent out last week. Among the guests are over 1,000 of Prince William and Miss Middleton’s family and friends; over 50 Members of the royal family; over 40 members of foreign royal families; over 200 members of government, parliament and diplomatic corps; approximately 80 guests drawn from Prince William’s charities; 60 governors-general and realm prime ministers; and 30 Members of the defence services.

“The wedding is being split into two parts,” says Katie. “The majority of the people at this wedding are going to be friends of the couple. … It’s not a state wedding. This really is a wedding for their family and friends.”

Following the wedding, approximately 600 people have been invited to the lunchtime reception at Buckingham Palace given by The Queen, and around 300 people have been invited to the dinner at Buckingham Palace given by The Prince of Wales.

BET’s The Game – Season Finale – Shoulda Been There

 

Season 4 of “The Game’ may have started a little iffy but it most definitely ended with a bang.

Yes — “The Game” finale makes the cut? For many….

For a show to be cut from the CW and put back on via BET — it is arguably a success.

With Malik potentially out of the picture, and Tasha out with him, the show’s shining couple, Melanie and Derwin close out the season finale with the kind of twist we have come to expect from the Writers.

Derwin and Melanie visit a fertility clinic to figure out why Melanie is having trouble getting pregnant. The doctor asks Melanie a list of questions, all of which would help him gauge her ability to get pregnant. One of the questions: Have you ever had an abortion? Melanie’s answer “Definitely not.” Tasha isn’t the only one who knows what it means when Melanie says “Definitely.” When the doctor leaves to place an order to draw some blood, Derwin asks her, “The abortion…was it mine?”

With that, season four of “The Game” is over.

Season four started off with a whopping 7.7 million viewers.

As much as the show wants to be funny and dramatic, it’s clear the creative team for the BET version has a flair for the dramatic. With such a cliffhanger and so many unanswered questions between Tasha, Malik, and most importantly Melanie and Derwin, season five of “The Game” has the potential to make the show even bigger.

Charlie Sheen Flips Out On Denise Richards

Since Charlie Sheen’s winning interview on “Good Morning America”, he’s somehow completely managed to make headlines a million times over. Between his “bi-winning” comment, to his life with his Goddesses, kissing Jimmy Kimmel and his upcoming tour, it’s been quite the ride. But guess that wasn’t enough, now that he’s opted to attack his ex Denise Richards on Twitter over their dogs — well, her dogs really.

Apparently, Charlie took to Twitter on Monday morning, calling Denise a “dog thief” and a “whore,” because she took back two pugs in his care. His exact words? “We must bombard with Warlock Napalm, that traitor and loser whore #DUH -neese POOR-ARD. A VILE KIDNAPPER AND NOW DOG THIEF. HATE.”

But as we understand, the dogs were actually Denise’s, a source told Popeater. She’d had them since before they got married. However, according to TMZ, during their divorce, she left them with Charlie so their daughters would be able to play with them when they spent time with their dad.

Now Charlie flips out on Twitter and we wonder: why does he now care about the dogs that seem to have been mistreated in his care? Well, according to TMZ, it’s because he wants the dog that’s still alive to be a mascot during his upcoming tour that starts in April.

Mariah Carey’s Pregnancy Scare

Singer — Mariah Carey was rushed to the hospital earlier Sunday morning due to having contractions. Despite being in what she thought was to be true labor, she tweeted that she was indeed being rushed to the hospital and having contractions.

The contractions turned out to be a false alarm however, as Mariah later tweeted, “They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: ) #soreadyallready!”

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s fashion company, Dualstar, has been acclaimed for the fall 2011 sportswear collection of high end separates and textured pieces. The luxury fashion line, “The Row,” has reached over a billion dollars in total sales and the twins have no intention of slowing down. Their first time as fashion designers came early in childhood when they created a fashion forward line of tween clothes for Wal-Mart. The famous child actresses have expanded the line down into a lucrative partnership with JCPenney, which carries the “Olsenboye” line.

Donald Trump Discusses President Obama on ‘The View’

Donald Trump went on “The View” on Wednesday and discussed President Barack Obama and other subjects. “I want him to show his birth certificate,” Trump said of Obama. “There’s something on that birth certificate that he doesn’t like.” Trump, who has been promoting his show “Celebrity Apprentice,” is also reportedly considering a White House Run.

“I think that’s the biggest pile of dog mess I’ve heard in ages,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg responded.
