As I search the air waves, I look up and saw interviews by the victims in the Eddie Long Scandal. Take a listen to hear the victims and then take a listen to the Former NFL star’s comment. (YOU BE THE JUDGE)
Jahmal Parris

This is a touching story and it seems to me that the world will have to judge this based on the hearts of all the individuals. Jamal Speaks as a young teen– a 14 year old with no father in his life– he joined New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Bishop Eddie Long came into his life. He said Long said to call him “daddy” and to trust him with spiritual guidance.
“I loved him,” Parrish said. “I’m always going to have love for the things that he taught me. But how he left us hurt worse than anything I ever felt in my life.” Parrish claims in his lawsuit the father-like figure used scripture to justify sex. And he lavished money, cars, jewelry, trips in the Bishop’s private jet, even homes on the teens, sometimes with funds from the church coffers.

Spencer did not say that much, but he did state when he saw the other guys on the news, he decided that it’s time to put this to a stop. Spencer stated that he feels free now that everyone knows the kind  a person Bishop Eddie Long is.
Ex-NFL Player Says He Supports Bishop Eddie Long

ATLANTA – A former NFL player came to the defense of embattled Bishop Eddie Long on Wednesday. Anthony Cannon played for the Detroit Lions for three years and says the pastor helped him reach his dreams.
Like the four men suing Long, Cannon describes the pastor as a generous and loving father figure. But unlike the plaintiffs suing for sexual misconduct, Cannon said there was never anything sexual about their relationship.
Cannon left a lot of dreams on the Lions football field. The 25-year-old linebacker is a free agent now, hoping one day, he’ll be back on the field crushing opponents.
It’s seems that everyone is speaking out, but the Lord knows the truth. What really happen with this? This is has touched the Globe and a lot of people are hurting by this shocking news. I see alot of people are angry, hurt, sad and ready to do some crazy things. Let’s all just sit back and let the lawyers battle this in the court of law.
Being that this is the Church, we need to let the Lord our God deal with the Bishop and the Judge deal with the things on this earth. I know thet Jesus left us a law called you reap what you sow!

Galatians 6:7-8

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
EOTM had a discussion on this Topic and it was heated please take a listen and you will find that the Heat WAS ON!
