With The College Expo being one of the most prominent higher education conventions, students and parents are provided the opportunity not only to connect with local colleges, but to meet with colleges from all over the nation as well. Founder Theresa Price started this event when she saw a need for underprivileged inner city students to reach for goals beyond their financial capabilities. Students obtain acceptance letters and scholarships from various colleges and universities, right on the spot. The expo also hosts several workshops and seminars.
